We travel a fair bit as well and this helps keep the metabolism high while on the road. These principles are used for the warmup stage of the class, as we have all the equipment to use once we get started in the class proper.
Just to warn you that you may experience something called DOMS in the next twelve to forty eight hours after a class. If you are unfamiliar with the term it means Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) and is caused by many micro tears in muscles that are not used to the new exercise. Different people experience varying levels of this effect. Make sure you drink at least 2.5 litres of water daily and this will help against this (well slightly). This amount of water is recommended daily as a rule anyway, but just a reminder as if you’re anything like us, and most of our clients, water often gets forgotten when we are busy.
